Kasarhérou Emmanuel

Emmanuel Kasarhérou is currently Chief curator of heritage, on duty for the “Overseas Mission” of the Musée du quai Brainly. He comes from a clan on the east coast of New Caledonia. Before being appointed as curator of the Museum of New Caledonia in 1985, he studied archeology and history in Paris. In 1994, he was nominated director of the Center Jean-Marie Tjibaou, in Nouméa, which he directed until May 2011.
